“Mi nombre es Jay Roeder, y tengo una obsesión enfermiza con el dibujo y las letras. Nací en Minnesota, y me trasladé a Connecticut en 2002, que es donde he vivido desde entonces. Hago dibujos diarios y los subo a mi sitio web de lunes a viernes. Hacer un dibujo cada día de la semana ha sido un reto a veces, pero también muy gratificante a la vez.¡Yo solía trabajar en el mundo de las agencias, pero me fui por mi cuenta hace un año, me he vuelto mi propio jefe y me encanta!
Siempre he tenido un interés en la ilustración en el diseño, un lema personal mío siempre ha sido “inspirado desde 84″ cuando yo nací. A temprana edad se me consideró un “niño de arte” y siempre me encontré con un lápiz o un bolígrafo en la mano, dibujando las tortugas ninjas y los coches de carreras. Lo mejor de todo, es que yo todavía encuentro la inspiración de una gran cantidad de las mismas cosas que hice cuando era más joven – los vídeojuegos, dibujos animados, tecnología, música, y todo lo retro – no ha cambiado mucho!”/

“My name is Jay Roeder, and I have an unhealthy obsession with drawing and lettering. I was born in Minnesota, and moved to Connecticut in 2002, which is where I have lived ever since. I do daily drawings on my website every Monday – Friday. Doing a drawing 5 days a week has been a challenge at times, but also extremely personally rewarding at the same time.
I used to work in the agency world, but I went out on my own about a year ago, and have been self employed and loving it ever since!
I have always had an interest in illustration in design, a personal motto of mine has always been “inspired since 84” when I was born. At a young age I was deemed an “art kid” and I’d always be found with a pencil or pen in hand, drawing ninjas turtles and race cars. The best part, is that I still find inspiration from a lot of the same things I did when I was younger – video games, cartoons, tech, music, and anything retro – not much has changed!”
